• Hardscape design and installation
• Softscape and planting design
• Water feature installation
• Outdoor lighting and audio systems
• Full landscape project management

3. Project Contracts

All landscape projects require a signed contract that specifies:

• Scope of work and project timeline
• Payment terms and schedule
• Material selections and specifications
• Warranty and maintenance information
• Change order procedures

4. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are outlined in individual project contracts. Typically, projects require an initial deposit, progress payments tied to project milestones, and a final payment upon completion. All payments are due within the timeframes specified in your contract.

5. Cancellation & Changes

Any changes to the scope of work must be documented through a written change order. Cancellation policies and associated fees are specified in individual project contracts. We strive to be fair and transparent in all change order and cancellation situations.

6. Warranties

We stand behind our work. Warranty details for materials and workmanship are provided in your project contract. Plant material warranties are subject to proper maintenance and care as outlined in the care instructions provided.

7. Liability

Hockema Landscape Design & Build carries appropriate insurance and licensing. Our liability is limited to the terms specified in individual project contracts. We are not responsible for pre-existing site conditions not disclosed prior to contract signing.

8. Intellectual Property

All landscape designs, plans, and drawings created by Hockema Landscape Design & Build remain our intellectual property unless otherwise specified in writing. Clients receive a license to implement the design for their specified property.
